Process
1. Check if your occupation is on the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL). 2. Obtain a positive skills assessment from the relevant assessing authority. 3. Score at least 65 points on the points test. 4. Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) through SkillSelect. 5. Receive an invitation to apply. 6. Lodge the visa application within 60 days of invitation.

• Be invited to apply after submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) • Nominate an occupation on the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL) • Obtain a positive skills assessment • Be under 45 years of age at time of invitation • Score at least 65 points on the points test • Demonstrate at least Competent English • Meet health and character requirements
Work Rights
This visa allows you to: • Work in Australia • Study in Australia • Work in any occupation without employer restriction
Travel Rights
You can travel in and out of Australia freely for 5 years from the date the visa is granted. After 5 years, you may apply for a Resident Return Visa (RRV) (subclass 155 or 157) to maintain travel facility as a permanent resident.
